A dialer is an automated system that places calls to customers, from an outbound call center or a blended call center. The aim is to reduce the cost of making phone calls by removing a lot of repetitive and error-prone work.

How do I use Phone Dialer? Start Dialer on your machine. Click the 'Dial' button (or select Dial from the Phone menu) Select 'Internet Call' and enter the IP address or host name of the recipient computer. Click 'Place Call' On the remote machine a window will be displayed with a 'Take Call' button.
